Wedding from hell in Corrie cliffhanger
Last updated at 12:46 09 August 2005
It's bound to end in tears for smiling bride Shelley Unwin as her groom Charlie Stubbs finally gets her to the altar in Coronation Street.
Weatherfield's wedding from hell sees long-suffering Shelley finally set to marry her bullying boyfriend.
But as the big day approaches Shelley, played by Sally Lindsay, begins to realise the truth about her man - thanks to her therapist - and some home truths from her girl pals on her hen-night.
'Unforgettable cliffhanger'
The Street's biggest storyline of the year has millions of viewers gripped in a 'will she-won't she?' cliffhanger - with show bosses promising an unforgettable episode.
And more than one ending has been filmed to keep everyone guessing if Shelley actually marries nasty Charlie, played by actor Bill Ward.
Viewers will have to wait until September to find out if the Rovers landlady can come to her senses before she says 'I do.'
