Science shown the door

Yorkshire rapper Science became the latest housemate to be given the boot from Big Brother.

The 22-year-old from Leeds was voted off the show instead of model Orlaith.

The breast-baring former Miss Northern Ireland Model of the Year runner-up looked thoughtful as Science jumped up and prepared to leave the house.

Orlaith, 26, is known to be unhappy, apparently feeling suffocated as the show continues.

Science received 50.5 per cent of the total public vote - the closest in Big Brother history.

He was unpopular with housemates because of his loud arguing, though his chicken cooking skills were popular.

On hearing the news, Science admitted that he felt "a little gutted obviously, but what can you say? It's just the way it's meant to be."

Science told host Davina McCall: "I would love to still be in the house, but the odds were stacked against the man with the plan."

He said he did start out liking people in the house. "But I saw their way, and I didn't like that, so we began to dislike each other, for many different reasons."

He agreed he had been a loner in the house, and, asked if he was a loner generally, said: "I'm a music man, I deal with that by myself."

Asked if he had any regrets, he said: "That I'm not in there still."
