The Investigators

There are more than 200 private investigators in the Manchester area alone. A peculiar blend of social worker and snoop rolled into one, they take on problems that can't be solved by the police, such as infidelity, fraud and missing persons.

This three-part docusoap series, narrated by John Simm, follows three investigators at work.

This week, ex-policeman Craig is on the trail of a man suspected of faking his sick leave; Malcolm tries to track down a client's natural mother; and Bob is unravelling a case of car fraud.
