The Dave Gorman Collection

Tonight, Dave Gorman revels in the number of Dave Gormans he has collected on his pathologically ingenious comic quest, although he's slightly disappointed with the fact that he has accumulated 605 MPDG (miles per Dave Gorman).

That's 305 above his target. O

bviously, meeting so many of his namesakes has sparked an identity crisis in Dave Gorman No. 1. Consequently he has had to seek personality-affirming publicity in the nation's media, managing to make it on to The Sun's page three and The Big Breakfast.

It was, after all, his idea. He is The Original Dave Gorman. (Or is he?) What does this say about self-obsession in the 20th century? (Mine's a large one.)
