The Rivals
Film-maker Michael Cockerell presents a fascinating twin profile of Gordon Brown and Michael Portillo - a story of two rivals who turn out, perhaps not unexpectedly, to have rather a lot of similarities.
Portillo, though more famously Spanish, is also a bit Scottish. Which sounds lame, I'll grant you. Like the fact that they're both dark and ambitious.
In their youth, they had the same political heroes. Both then made journeys to the centre of their parties, are so secretive that they've invited speculation about their private lives, and might end up facing each other as PM and Opposition leader in the not-too-distant future.
Interviewees include Ken Clarke, Neil Kinnock, Steve Norris and Diane Abbott.
