Zoe and Fatboy romance in Rio

Fixing a marriage, it seems, is as simple as A, B and sea.

A Brazilian beach offered an idyllic setting for Zoe Ball and Norman Cook to show their renewed love for each other.

The couple, who decided to give their relationship another chance after Miss Ball's affair with a DJ, looked like starstruck lovers again as they strolled on the sand and took the plunge in the warm waters off Rio de Janeiro.

Miss Ball, 33, was in great shape in her black bikini.

Three years after giving birth to their son Woody, she laid a worthier claim to the second half of her husband's stage name, Fatboy Slim. Cook, meanwhile, seven years older and betraying just a hint of middle-aged spread, should be careful he doesn't begin to regret his choice of alias.

It was just over a year ago that Miss Ball walked out on her husband after admitting an affair with Dan Peppe.

Three months later, with Cook declaring his continued love for her, she returned to the family's £2million mansion in Brighton to give their four-year marriage another chance.

Just before Christmas she announced she was shelving the majority of her work commitments to spend more time with the family.

She is now doing just one day a week with the London radio station XFM and freelance work for Radio 2. Cook, meanwhile, has been working harder than ever.

Last weekend he staged a massive open air rave, the Big Beach Boutique, in Rio which attracted 300,000 people.
