Does Best deserve a second chance?
Last updated at 17:32 15 April 2004
A liver transplant saved former Dallas star Larry Hagman and former footballer George Best when doctors gave them both just months to live.
Best, 57, started drinking again last year despite having pellets implanted into his stomach which are supposed to cause a violent reaction to alcohol.
Hagman has developed life-threatening problems with his replacement liver as a result of his return to drinking.
The 72-year-old star has now ruled out the possibility of being given yet another transplant as he is unwilling to deprive anyone else who might need it.
