Paris is shown the door
It was a shock exit for Paris in Saturday's Fame Academy. The high-pitched crooner lost both the teacher and student vote to be evicted from the academy.
The show was the biggest shock of the series so far. Carolynne, Peter and Paris gave arguably the best performances of the night yet all three found themselves at the bottom of the pack after the public vote.
Against all the odds James and Alistair survived, as did Alex - who, it has to be said, didn't perform as well as the public has come to expect.
But it was Paris who was to bear the brunt.
As teacher Carrie looked close to tears, the teachers used their vote to save Peter. The students then used theirs to keep Carolynne in the house.
Upset for Carolynne
Paris left with a quick shake of James's hand but without a hug or goodbye for Carolynne, who classed Paris as one of her closest friends in the academy.
The Leeds lass was understandably upset. Later that weekend, after Saturday's excitement had faded, Carolynne admitted Paris's behaviour had upset her.
She told Peter and James: "I got upset 'cos I wanted to hold his hand and give him a cuddle 'cos I was close to Paris..."
"I felt really upset 'cos I turned to him, and he shook someone's hand, but I didn't even get eye contact with him.
"He didn't say bye to me or anything... It was that that started me off bawling," she added.
