Zoe and Fatboy try to work it out
Zoe Ball flew back into Britain yesterday and headed straight for home and her estranged husband Norman Cook.
Arriving at their front door after a holiday in the Seychelles, she hinted there could be hope for the marriage after her affair with DJ Daniel Peppe.
Miss Ball said she was 'talking things over' with Cook, better known as the pop star Fatboy Slim.
She made it clear she was determined to sort out her differences with her husband once and for all.
Miss Ball was reunited with Cook and their two-year-old son Woody yesterday after a week-long sunshine break with her brother Nick.
'I'm here with Norman and Woody and we're just talking things over,' she said from the house on Brighton seafront.
'We don't want to make any statements to anyone about us.
'We're going through something which should be kept private and that's how we intend to keep it.'
Asked if there was any chance of a reconciliation, she replied: 'I'm not answering that question. It's up to us what happens but I don't want to discuss it.'
She added: 'I'm happy to be here today but we want to be left in peace. We need space and time alone.'
Miss Ball, 32, appeared more relaxed than at any time since the couple broke up in December.
Cook, 39, who stayed inside the house with Woody yesterday, is desperate for his wife to return to him. She has been staying in London, where she presents a show for a radio station in the capital.
She is understood to have used her Seychelles trip to think over the future of her marriage. During the break she was seen taking long walks alone on the beach and treating herself to the Banyan Tree Hotel's massage facilities and spa.
Staff at the hotel said she seemed in good spirits when she checked out on Saturday.
She left an upbeat note in the visitors' book with her brother, which read: 'Zoe and Nick Ball, London, England. Staff lovely, feel v. spoilt.'
Cook has insisted he wants his wife back.
Recently he declared: 'I love my wife and I forgive her. We are still talking.'
