Beverly Hills surgeons have let slip the 'undetectable' new procedure every female A-lister is getting... as they declare filler to be out of fashion

From duck lips and inflated derrieres to salmon sperm facials and buccal fat removal, plastic surgery trends come and go in Hollywood faster than fashion changes.

But for 2026, the hottest new look is something virtually unheard of in Tinseltown — natural beauty.

After years of celebrities flaunting their oversized enhancements — and even proudly advertising their surgeons, as Kris Jenner memorably did last year — many are now desperate to look as untouched as possible.

This doesn't mean that ageing A-listers are ready to embrace their wrinkles and sagging skin just yet, but they are opting for more subtle tweaks to keep themselves looking as fresh as possible without any noticeable slicing, stretching and filling.

To achieve this, many are turning to regenerative procedures, like stem cell therapy and PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections.

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Deepak Dugar — who is best known for his natural nose jobs, which leave no external scarring thanks to incisions made inside the nose — has dubbed the faux-natural craze 'quiet-luxury beauty'.

'The biggest aesthetic shift heading into 2026 is restraint. We're seeing a clear move away from exaggerated, obviously "done" procedures like overfilled lips, extreme BBLs, and anything that announces itself across the room,' he told the Daily Mail.

'The new celebrity aesthetic is about refinement, balance, and looking undetectably better, rather than dramatically different.'

The board-certified surgeon said that the 'cultural appetite for extremes is clearly declining' — and that, in particular, the use of certain fillers is fast on the decline, as celebrities start to realize that an over-reliance on injectables can 'distort' the face in a way that can actually make you look older or unnatural.

'In 2026, the goal is what I call "quiet-luxury beauty". Faces that look rested, elegant, and genetically blessed — not injected,' he explained.

'This includes things like conservative facial sculpting, skin-quality treatments, and scarless surgical techniques that don't leave visible signs.

'Celebrities and high-profile patients are choosing subtle structural work that enhances their natural anatomy instead of masking it. That means less filler, more precision, and a return to timeless facial proportions.

'They now understand that the most powerful aesthetic statement is when people can't tell what you've had done. The new status symbol is discretion.'

In addition to his signature scarless nose jobs, Dr. Dugar also performs scarless facial contouring procedures by using needles instead of blades to achieve natural-looking results.

'Instead of traditional liposuction, which often involves small incisions, stitches, and larger power-assisted cannulas, I perform jawline and double-chin contouring through needle-sized entry points using ultra-fine micro cannulas and gentle manual sculpting,' he said.

'Because the entry is done with a needle rather than a blade, there's no visible scar and no tell-tale signs that anything surgical was done,' he continued.

'This approach allows for very precise contouring of the submental area, improved jawline definition, and reduction of fullness under the chin, all while preserving the natural anatomy and avoiding the over-treated look people are moving away from.'

He added, 'It fits very much with the broader trend toward undetectable, refined enhancements rather than dramatic transformations.'

Pamela Anderson and Kylie Jenner are among the Hollywood stars who have ditched fillers and toned down their exaggerated looks for a more natural approach in recent years.

Not only has Anderson stopped all use of Botox or fillers, she's also gone a step further and stopped wearing makeup beyond a tinted moisturizer and lip balm.

'Sometimes I catch myself in the mirror and go "Oh! Geez, who's that?" But isn't that so much fun? It's just great,' she told People magazine of her makeunder.

'I feel like I've kind of cracked the code. I look like my Instagram photos!'

As for Jenner, who has admitted to getting a breast augmentation and lip fillers, she said that it was the birth of her daughter Stormi in 2018 that made her reevaluate her extensive past with plastic and cosmetic surgery.

'Obviously, I have a daughter, too. I'd be heartbroken if she wanted to get her body done at 19,' Jenner said on a 2023 episode of The Kardashians.

Aesthetic medicine physician Dr. Jennifer Armstrong agrees that 'the overdone look is out' and says that 'regenerative medicine' is all the rage right now.

'Seventy per cent of my practice is fixing other people's work. This incompetence that we see all over the place in med spas and cosmetic practices is finally coming to the surface and patients aren't tolerating it anymore, which is amazing,' said Dr. Armstrong, who runs her own clinic in Newport Beach.

One of the most talked about new treatments for 2026 is the use of PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor), a breakthrough injectable treatment which uses natural proteins to stimulate your skin's own healing to boost collagen and skin elasticity.

PDGF has become one of the hottest trends over the last few months, especially for treating the under-eye area, but Dr. Armstrong warns that patients still need to exercise caution when seeking out regenerative medicine due to how new it still is.

'There's a lot of products out there that are complete junk. The range of quality in regenerative products is very wide so you need to be very careful with what you're using,' she said.

For under eye treatments, Dr. Dugar still prefers PRP, which involves taking a small sample of a patient's blood and then spinning it to separate the plasma, before injecting it back into the skin to stimulate collagen.

'PRP continues to be popular because it works with the body rather than against it,' Dr. Dugar said.

'While PDGF is getting buzz right now, PRP delivers a more comprehensive regenerative effect, which aligns with the 2026 shift toward natural, subtle, and sustainable results.'

Celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. John Layke told Daily Mail that patients are finding new ways 'to turn back the clock' thanks to the 'the intersection of aesthetic medicine and regenerative medicine'.

He and his partners at Proactive Longevity in Cabo San Lucas provide stem cell and exosomes therapies for aesthetics and anti-aging.

Their famous clients include Mario Lopez, who had both stem cell therapy and a plasma exchange procedure to treat his joints, which he injured through martial arts and boxing.

Caro Van Hove, President of Tiger Aesthetics, says that the shift towards regenerative medicine is backed by research that shows that patients are after treatments that will work with their body's own regenerative processes.

'Aesthetic medicine is undergoing a profound shift away from traditional fillers, synthetic materials and short-term solutions, toward treatments that work in harmony with the body's natural biology,' she explained.

'This regenerative revolution depends on innovative products with naturally occurring ingredients and sophisticated manufacturing processes that maintain the materials' natural integrity. Unlike currently available fillers and surgical options, these innovations will support integration, cellular regeneration, and lasting volume restoration.'

Van Hove said that one of the top treatments in regenerative aesthetics right now is an injectable filler called alloClae, which is made from purified human fat tissue and is largely used for body contouring procedures.

Outside of regenerative procedures, Dr. Armstrong also recommends a treatment that she calls 'skin tacking', which uses radio-frequency technology to deliver heat beneath the skin, triggering a unique skin-tacking effect to lift and tighten the skin.

'It makes me so happy because I've always promoted using your own natural features instead of creating something new and altering the shape of the face,' Dr. Armstrong said.

'The result is refreshed and rested instead of overdone and weird looking.'
