For 11 years, they took Bravo by storm until a whole new generation of SUR-vers were summoned to replace them.
Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, Tom Schwartz, and Katie Maloney were the long-time stars of Vanderpump Rules until last year, when the decision was made to recast them with fresh faces.
Now that the torch has officially been passed down, naturally one wonders if there has been any communication between the old and new cast.
In an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail at the 2025 Vanderpump Dog Gala, the stars have now revealed which one of their predecessors have reached out since being replaced - and what exactly they had to say.
Fortunately, it's all been positive, with Venus Binkley, Marcus Johnson, Audrey Lingle, Natalie Maguire, Kim Suarez, Demy Selem gushing about the feedback they had been receiving from the legacies.
One man whose name kept coming up was Tom Schwartz.
The new cast of Vanderpump Rules have revealed the advice they have received from their predecessors
Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules consisted of Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, James Kennedy, Lala Kent, Tom Schwartz, Scheana Shay, and of course Lisa Vanderpump
'Tom Schwartz is my boy. He came to our watch party a couple days ago. We had some old fashions and some tequila shots. And he's given me some advice,' Johnson said. 'Schwartz is my boy.'
Schwartz advised Johnson to stay positive and relax: 'Just go with the flow. Be yourself. Don't let everything, all the noise, get you down, and focus on all the opportunities that are coming.'
Suarez also spoke highly of Schwartz, calling the TomTom co-owner 'so kind and generous'.
However she noted the alums had always been 'kind and generous' whenever she heard about them reaching out.
'Anytime that I've heard from the old cast reaching out to anybody, they've been so kind and generous,' she said.
Schwartz had also recently hung out with Binkley, who gushed about his time with the star.
'I was with Tom Schwartz yesterday. He's amazing.'

Lingle said Stassi Schroeder praised the new VPR cast at the gala; Stassi pictured with husband Beau Clark at the party
Tom Schwartz's name came up multiple times as a major supporter of the new cast
Lingle agreed: 'He's so sweet. He's like, the sweetest guy.'
Another alum offering her support to the Vanderpump Rules cast was Stassi Schroder, who was in attendance at the gala.
'We just ran into Stassi and she was so sweet, she was like, "keep killing it. You guys are doing amazing, enjoy it",' Lingle said.
But Lingle made a point to note they haven't heard from everyone.
Vanderpump Rules debuted in 2013 and has seen various cast members come and go over the years, but earlier this year marked a dramatic shift with a full new cast replacing the legacy stars
'Several of them have reached out. Some of them haven't,' Lingle continued. 'We are grateful that even the few that have reached out have said nice things. It gives us motivation.'
New cast member Natalie Maguire was already 'friendly' with alum Scheana Shay and had heard from Kristen Doute.
'I'm friendly with Scheana, Kristen has reached out,' she said.
Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules came to an end in May 2024, with the cast ending on a fractured note due to Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval's scandalous breakup.
The friends and co-stars were divided after taking sides when Tom's affair with Rachel Leviss was brought to light.
The 7th annual Vanderpump Dog Gala was held at The Maybourne Hotel in Beverly Hills.
The gala, which benefits The Vanderpump Dog Foundation's rescue efforts and dog rehabilitation programs, saw a who's who of stars in attendance, including Lance Bass, Trixie Mattel, Garcelle Beauvais, Jon Lovitz, and more.
