Ella Hooper shocked fans on Wednesday night when she debuted her stunning new look at the 2024 ARIA Awards at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney.

The Killing Heidi singer, 41, has said goodbye to the colourful dreadlocked hair and striking make-up palettes she had in the early 2000s and now rocks a more refined look.

The Mascara hitmaker, who is presenting at the ceremony, turned heads as she rocked her best angles on the red carpet.

Ella exuded confidence and style as she showcased her stunning new look, in which she now wears her long brunette hair elegantly styled around her shoulders.

She added a unique touch by dyeing the tips bleach blonde.

However, she still wore the same cheeky grin that she had when her band Killing Heidi rose to fame in 1999.

The four-time ARIA Award winner stunned in an $900 long-sleeve plunging black and gold sun dress from Melbourne designer Saint Stella M.

In 1999, Killing Heidi - made up of Ella, her brother Jesse and their friends Aaron Hart on drums and Rowen Murphy - stormed the Australian music charts with their hit song Mascara from their debut album Reflector.

The band continued to rack up more hits with their follow up songs Superman/Supergirl and Weir, and won four ARIA Awards in 2000, including Album of the Year and Best Group.

The band went on to release three albums: Reflector (2000), Present (2002) and Killing Heidi (2004).

The band from Violet Town, Victoria, split in 2006, before reforming in 2016 after a 10-year hiatus.

Ella has gone on to solo work with her music, competed against nine other acts to represent Australia as a solo artist at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with her song Data Dust.

Unfortunately for Ella, Kate Miller-Heidke ended up winning the competition.

She is now the host of 90s music theme podcast called Front & Centre available on Triple M 90's station and the LiSTNR app.

Elsewhere at the ceremony, Tones and I lead the winners on Wednesday night as she took home the crown for Best Video.

The Australian singer won the award for her latest single Dance With Me, but was unable to accept the award in person.

Co-directors Nick Kozakis and Sela Vai accepted the award on behalf of the Dance Monkey hitmaker, giving an emotional tribute to the artist.

'I can't believe we did it. I just want to give a huge shout out to [my team]. Congratulations to everyone involved,' Tones said in a video sent to the ARIAs.
