Sick: Heather Locklear has checked into a Los Angeles hospital suffering from a bacterial infection
She had just returned to California from Canada where she was shooting her latest TV movie He Loves Me.
Her rep said she is not in any danger and 'is fine'.
The Melrose Place star was pictured walking through the terminal at Vancouver International Airport two weeks ago on her way to film the Lifetime movie.
She had looked healthy then but markedly line free and plumped up as she prepared for her close-up.
Good genes? Despite many reports to the contrary Locklear denies having one under the knife, however she does concede that she may do so in the future
In July, Locklear successfully completed a 30-day in-patient rehab program for prescription drug addiction.
She had entered the facility after she was arrested following a hit-and-run incident in April.
Sources close to the actress said her decision to seek treatment had nothing to do with the accident.
