Shadow of a supermodel

She is looking half the girl she used to be.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen seems to have lost the famous 36-24-34 curves that diverted the fashion industry from its obsession with the super-waif look and brought her the unwanted nickname of 'the boobs from Brazil'.

And the cause of the 21-year-old's ultra-slim shape might be close at hand.

Leonardo DiCaprio, her on-off boyfriend, provoked much unkind comment about his weight heading in the other direction.

But he recently lost two stone for his role as a naval officer in Steven Spielberg's film, Catch Me If You Can.

To encourage the Titanic star to get in shape, Gisele helped him with a strict diet regime. The results - for both of them - were clear to see when they were spotted out shopping in Los Angeles.

And as they walked hand-in-hand, it appeared that their relationship is definitely back on. Gisele occasionally put her arm around DiCaprio and they rounded off their shopping trip with an intimate lunch together.

Last month friends of Gisele said she was bored with 27-year-old DiCaprio and had left him.

She was spotted leaving Hollywood's Latin Lounge with multi-millionaire Steve Bing - the man Liz Hurley says is the father of her baby son Damian.

Shortly before the apparent split from Di Caprio, the supermodel had fuelled rumours of wedding plans by flashing a large platinum and diamond ring on her left hand.

Gisele has also recently bought a Beverly Hills home, with five acres of grounds for her black stallion, Dark Winter, to be closer to Di Caprio.
