Strictly Come Dancing has come in for a lot of criticism this year for its unstarry line-up, but you certainly couldn't throw that charge at The Celebrity Traitors. Gathered together in a Scottish castle for the ultimate test of back-stabbing, betrayal and murder is perhaps the starriest collection of famous faces ever assembled for a reality show, led by national treasures Sir Stephen Fry and Celia Imrie, TV favourites Jonathan Ross and Alan Carr, everyone's favourite knitter Tom Daley and singers Charlotte Church and Paloma Faith.
And that's not to mention brilliant host Claudia Winkleman, who, looking like a cross between Morticia Addams and Princess Anne, oversees it all. In the opening episode, Claudia picks her first three traitors, who promise they will kill with abandon over the coming weeks. Then, it's the first task, a back-breaking test of strength that goes badly wrong for one poor contestant. This is the first celebrity version of the hit show, and it's an absolute cracker not to be missed under any circumstances.
