Supernatural horror starring Connie Britton as a mother convinced her daughter is possessed

Claire (Connie Britton) has emerged from her divorce to Luca (Giovanni Cirfiera) to craft a life for herself as a teacher at a school in Rome, the same establishment where her teenage piano prodigy daughter Robin (Freya Hannan-Mills) studies.
All seems well until a bicycle accident puts Robin at death's door. The girl, unexpectedly, survives, but she emerges changed from the experience - rude, violent, sullen and dangerous. Looking for answers, Claire slowly comes to the conclusion that her daughter has brought a dark entity back with her from her brush with death, but what if anything can she do to exorcise it?
A classic jumpy-scary psychological horror film that segues into straight-up supernatural scares before the end, this is a potent chunk of terror. Britton is excellent as the mother forced into confronting her own past in order to try to secure a future for her daughter. (93 minutes)
