High art they aren't but there's an awful lot to enjoy in The Expendables series of no-nonsense old-fashioned action movies. Regulars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren return as the mercenary team sets out to stop a terrorist named the Ocelot from stealing a bunch of nuclear weapons.
It's satisfyingly silly globetrotting stuff full of big bangs, epic gunbattles and some fantastically cheesy tough-guy dialogue, all delivered with a knowing wink. Joining the cast for this fourth - and for Stallone at least, apparently final - instalment are a raft of familiar faces including Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, and the mighty Andy García.
