Fans of the BBC's Brinks-Matt drama The Gold will find plenty to enjoy in this crime caper, which puts a more humorous slant on the whole affair. King Gary's Tom Davis and People Like Us's Allan Mustafa lead the cast of this nostalgia-tinged six-part comedy set in recession-hit London in the early 1980s.
It follows a gang of hopeless small-time crooks who, through their own stupidity, find themselves out of their depth when they become embroiled in one of the biggest gold heists in history. Look out for Ramon Tikaram, star of the hit 1990s drama This Life, in the supporting cast. (Two series)
