Giving party animals a reality check has almost become a reality-show genre all by itself. Rylan hosts and narrates this sunny example, filmed on the Greek island of Zante, in which a group of boozy Brits are given the distinct impression they're going to have the wildest summer of their lives on a show called 'Party Summer'.
However, the truth is that these hot messes are actually going to be running a bar - not propping one up - and the moment they realise what's required of them is genuinely hilarious. They've all been nominated by friends who are sick of their bad behaviour, but will all the hard work serving drinks, hosting events and scrubbing toilets leave them better people by the end?
There's £60,000 for the winners, just in case self-improvement isn't a big enough carrot, and Rylan's warm presence manages to make it all seem less mean than it might feel otherwise. His smile might not protect him from the wrath of some of the participants, though: 'I'm livid, I could rip his veneers out,' remarks one. Uh-oh... (Six episodes)
