One of the best non-Toy Story movies ever produced by Pixar, Monsters, Inc is a vibrantly silly cartoon tale of the creatures who emerge from closets at night to scare sleeping kids... all so that they can use scream power to keep the lights on in their other-dimensional home. By the end of the film, the marvellous monsters realised laughter was a better source of energy than terror, and the critters switched to attempting to make children giggle instead.
Which is where the two series so far of this sequel show pick up, as a new monster starts learning his trade on the Monsters, Inc factory floor. Original movie voice stars John Goodman and Billy Crystal return as Sully and Mike, alongside new characters voiced by Mindy Kaling, Henry Winkler and Superstore's Ben Feldman. (Two series)
