The Dull Men's Club is an underground community where the brave men of Britain toil together to discuss and advise each other on the vital questions connected to their mundane hobbies and interests.
In a change of pace from his high-octane stunts on Top Gear and The Grand Tour, James May explores this world and celebrates the extraordinary in the ordinary. Basically, it's a good excuse for May to potter around in his shed with some like-minded individuals, and it's a lot of fun.
For example, there are a lot of phone boxes up and down the country that aren't used much any more - some have been turned into little libraries, miniature nightclubs or ice-cream parlours, but James is determined to put his own uniquely dull spin on the idea.
Other inventive projects include an easy pothole fixer made from old tires, and glue made from nails. It's reminiscent of his old series Man Lab, and will appeal to anyone who enjoys a bit of time in the shed. (Eight episodes)
