You might think your job is tough but in all likelihood it's a walk in the park compared to being a crab fisherman in the Bering Sea. This gritty reality show documents life on board fishing vessels operating out of Dutch Harbor in Alaska.
We follow the crews of crab boats and get to know the various characters on board. The work is exhausting, stressful, dangerous - and sometimes deadly. It's freezing cold, the waves can be 40ft tall and a ship's deck is like an obstacle course, filled with hazards that can crush you or remove a limb. Spare a thought for these poor guys next time you're tucking into a seafood platter. (19 series)
