Along with Ted Lasso and Slow Horses, Severance makes up the top three best series that the streamer has put out since its launch in 2019. A drama directed by Ben Stiller that unfolds at a dystopian office where workers have no memory of their lives outside - and vice versa - it's got style, secrets, the intelligence to pay off its premise and a great cast led by Adam Scott and Britt Lower as two of the workers.
From the workers' point of view, the moment after they step into the lift at the office to go home, they step out again to start a new shift. As the audience, we get to see some of what they don't, but the higher-ups - including a mysterious boss played by Patricia Arquette - definitely know things we don't and that, along with this show's singular sense of style, keeps you hooked.
