BBC fans have been left blown away by an 'exquisite' period drama that they've insisted is a 'must watch' - with four episodes available to stream now.
The series, which was first launched on the BBC in 2009, is an adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Emma and is now available on BBC iPlayer.
Starring Romola Garai as Emma, and Jonny Lee Miller as Mr George Knightley, Emma was popular among audiences on its original release on BBC One on Sunday nights.
The show, which also stars Michael Gamborton as Mr Woodhouse, Emma's father, follows the story of the original 1815 Austen novel, which focuses on meddling heroine Emma Woodhouse.
She finds herself caught up in a series of disastrous matchmaking for the young men and women around her, particularly her best friend, Harriet.
While the story has been adapted for television a number of times, fans have taken to forum site Reddit to praise the BBC adaptation as 'their favourite ever'.

One viewer penned: 'I've brought this up before, but the little details are chef's kiss,' as another agreed: 'I love it, it's my favourite adaptation of Emma.'
'I LOVE Romola Garai as Emma,' a third chimed in. 'I think what both 1996 and 2020 miss in their characterisation of Emma is that she's supposed to be more charming than snobbish, otherwise, she wouldn't be as well liked as she is by everyone.
'She has to still be snobbish as we know her to be, but her charms have to hide that from most people. And I think only 2009 really succeeds there.'
'I also really like Jonny Lee Miller as Knightley,' the fan added. 'While I find Johnny Flynn more attractive, personally, and more 'swoon-worthy' in his characterisation, Miller is more faithful to the idea of Knightley I've always had in my head.'
A fourth viewer agreed: 'Definitely the best Emma I've ever seen! The casting was perfect; it is a must watch that goes on the shelf with the other greats, Pride and Prejudice, Wives and Daughters etc.'
'In general, this mini series was very well done, not only in terms of acting but visually and musically as well,' a fifth concurred.
While a sixth concluded: 'Emma scored full marks. Romola Garai was as close to perfect an Emma as I could imagine.'
It comes after a Call The Midwife star has been totally transformed with a brand new look for her role in BBC period drama The Other Bennet Sister - which is based on another of Jane Austen's novels.
Fans gushed over the 2009 drama series, which has four episodes
Call The Midwife star Ella Bruccoleri will portray main character Mary Bennet in the ten episodes, which filmed in Wales earlier this year
New first-look images of the upcoming series, which also stars Gavin and Stacey's Ruth Jones and Richard E Grant, has been released ahead of the 250th anniversary of the birth of Jane Austin, who wrote Pride and Prejudice.
The new drama tells the iconic story from the perspective of Mary Bennet, instead of drawing focus on Elizabeth Bennet and her love interest Mr. Darcy.
Ruth, 59, stars alongside Richard, 68, as Mr and Mrs Bennet in the series, which has been adapted from Janice Hadlow's novel of the same name.
They join the likes of Game of Thrones actress Indira Varma and Heads of State's Richard Coyle as Mr and Mrs Gardiner, Mary's worldly aunt and uncle.
While The Girlfriend's Laurie Davidson and SAS Rogue Heroes star Dónal Finn portray Mr Ryder and Mr Hayward in the re-telling of the well-known story.

And she looks very different from the nun's uniform, which includes a large white wimple and a blue dress, in the new images from the series.
Instead, Ella, 35, who has also starred in Netflix Regency period drama Bridgerton, sports a long pink and white dress, and a small pair of glasses.

She's not the only star in the series to look very different, as Gavin and Stacey's Ruth looks appears a far cry from her legendary character Nessa Jenkins.
Ruth, who is best known for playing Gavin and Stacey's Nessa in the beloved BBC sitcom, has swapped her signature black bob wig for her natural brown locks in a first look at what's to come in the new drama.
She wears a Regency-style red gown as she shares a drink with her on-screen husband Richard, who looks dapper in a waistcoat and glasses.
The new images have also shown a peek at the five Bennet sisters for the first time, Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty, and Lydia, who Mrs Bennet is keen to help marry off.
The story follows Mary as, instead of looking to settle down, she heads to London to live with her aunt and uncle The Gardiners, as the governess to their three children.
Expanding the world of Pride and Prejudice, the series sees Mary alongside children Marianne, George and Rebecca, as they navigate the thrilling social world in the city.
Fans of the Jane Austin novel will no doubt recognise a number of the settings used in the new story, including Netherfield balls and Meryton Assembly.

The official synopsis teases: 'The story begins at Longbourn, the Bennet family home, where Mr and Mrs Bennet preside over a lively household of five unmarried daughters: Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty, and Lydia.
'As society’s pressures mount, the Bennet sisters navigate the glittering yet precarious world of Regency England, where marriage is both aspiration and necessity.
'While her sisters pursue romance and social triumph, Mary embarks on a very different path.
'Leaving Longbourn behind, she travels to London to live with her aunt and uncle, Mr and Mrs Gardiner, in their elegant home on Gracechurch Street.
'There, Mary begins a journey of self-discovery, stepping out of the shadows and into her own story.'
Emma is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
