But if you're in need of a break from the back-to-back Yuletide content, or prefer your movies with more of a scare, Prime Video have got you covered.

A new Spanish series, which has now launched all six of its terrifying episodes to be binged back to back, is now available on the streaming giant.

Tell Me Your Name, originally called Dime Tu Nombre, tells the story of a group of people living in Fuensanta, a small town in Murcia, Spain

The story follows an NGO leader named Sonia, and a local priest, Father Angel, as they try to manage growing tensions between communities.

The cultural conflict and supernatural terrors begin when the small strawberry-farming village welcomes in a group of Moroccan seasonal workers.

Set in in 1997,  the workers settle into a nearby abandoned village, which uncovers a series of ancient nightmares, linked with a darkness that's spread about town.

The synopsis teases: 'Toledo, Spain, 1997. The residents of Río Blanco have accepted the settlement of Moroccan seasonal workers in Fuensanta.

‘Coexistence brings tensions, known by Sonia, an NGO leader; Father Ángel, the local priest; and Safir, the Imam.

'What they don’t imagine is that Fuensanta’s foundations hide something capable of unleashing their worst nightmares, regardless of their beliefs or prayers.’

The series stars The Goldsmith's Secret actress Michelle Jenner as Sonia, alongside Argentinian star Dario Grandinetti as Father Angel, and Moroccan actor Younes Bouab plays Safir.

And there's an impressive team working behind the scenes of the thriller, with Skybound Entertainment, who are behind The Walking Dead, producing the series.

Tell Me Your Name first launched on the site on Halloween, and its episodes have now all been released, with fans quick to praise the scary series.

Taking to reviews site Rotten Tomatoes, one viewer penned: 'After a long time I’ve watched a horror show with a good story line, great messaging and creature building.' Another added: 'Loved each episode.

It comes after horror fans have hailed a new release on Netflix as the 'best film of the year'.

I Know What You Did Last Summer, which launched in cinemas earlier this year, was uploaded to the streaming service in time for Halloween.

Currently available to stream in the US, the movie is based on the 1997 film of the same name, and takes place 27 years after the original film.

The original saw a group of high school teens trying to cover up a horrifying hit-and-run case, before they begin receiving anonymous letters threatening to expose their dark secret - which dragged them into the bloody path of a mysterious killer.

The new film follows the same premise, with the teenagers stalked by a mysterious killer, and forced to seek help from the two survivors of the original local massacre.

This time, it stars Madelyn Cline as Danica Richards, Chase Sui Wonders as Ava Brucks, Jonah Hauer-King as Milo Griffin and Tyriq Withers as Teddy Spencer.

While Freddie Prinze Jr and Jennifer Love Hewitt reprise their roles as familiar franchise characters Ray and Julie, Sarah Michelle Gellar - who played Helen Shivers in the original, appears in a cameo role.

The spine-chilling trailer shows the group being attacked and killed one by one by a masked man, who shoots them with a fishing harpoon and maims them with a large fishing hook.

The synopsis teases: 'When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences.

'A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they're forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer... and is hell-bent on revenge.

'As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.'

Tell Me Your Name is available to stream now on Amazon Prime.
