Loose Women viewers mocked guests Patsy Kensit and Caprice for a 'nauseating lovefest' during an interview.

The pair made a guest appearance on the ITV daytime show to promote their film A Scottish Christmas Secret premiering on Channel 5 on December 13.

Fans noticed the pair's very affectionate dynamic, including frequently holding hands or touching the other's arm.

Taking to X, one viewer penned: 'Are they trying to be the Gen X Ariana and Cynthia!!!'

Another added: 'This Caprice and Patsy lovefest is nauseating.

'My wife loves Christmas films but turned theirs off after 15 mins. "Go out and do it girls (said about 3 times).

'Sure, I'm off to make a movie without a name to capitalise on ..."

While a third remarked: 'Are we sure they aren't the ones in the relationship? They can't stop touching each other #LooseWomen.'

Although it's the pair's first movie together, the women referenced having known each other 'for 5,000 years'.

Socialite and media personality Caprice, 54, made the move to starring in films, describing her work as 'romcoms and Christmas movies.'

Discussing also serving as a producer on A Scottish Christmas Secret, she said: 'I have control over this and it's all about love, community, family values and God.

'This is what I love, I'm making TV that my kids are proud of and I'm proud of and I'm doing it at 54.'

Revealing how the pair's longstanding friendship began, Patsy recalled: 'Back in the day, somewhere there. Cap is the best girlfriend and what she's done is incredible.

'She's creating this industry... actors that are my age won't get parts, you know. I'm so proud of her. It's wonderful.'

A Scottish Christmas Secret follows a publisher, Tiffany (Caprice) who goes to Scotland to convince her top author Nathan (Alex Trumble) to complete his series.

With antics including pretending to be a ski student and a secret inheritance, will romance blossom?

As for Patsy, 57, she portrays Sophie, who is Tiffany's sister and runs the publishing company with her.

She has starred in notable series including Emmerdale, Holby City and more recently, an extended guest stint on EastEnders.

Last month, Caprice got into the festive spirit  by slipping into a sexy Santa costume to promote A Scottish Christmas Secret.

The star was in high spirits as she celebrated her new Channel 5 Christmas movie being released and shared on Instagram that she had the 'best night ever'.

Caprice wrote: 'Omg just Wow!!!! I had my Christmas movie premiere of A Scottish Chriatmas Secret!!! On @channel5_tv Dec 13 and My5 now….It was the most amazing night full of so much support and love!!!!

'I am so sorry we ran out of seats as I genuinely didn’t think everyone would show up, I love u all and thank u for making this night one of the best nights ever!!!'

Caprice went on to gush about her 'new stage in life' as she prepares to start working on her sixth movie next year.

She said: 'This new stage in my life is my favorite!… I have always wanted to do movies but was afraid or doubted myself now I am producing and starring in 3 movies this year alone and in pre production for my 6th movie starting Jan 23.

'Don’t ever give up on your dreams you can do anything at any stage of your life!!! …. Believe in yourself and go for it!!!! I believe in you!!!!
