American Pickers' Danielle Colby, 50, said that the show is coming to an end after 27 seasons
'It kind of takes me right back to where I started when American Pickers started.'
Colby said prior to becoming a regular on the show, she was 'doing burlesque' and other freelance endeavors because she wasn't 'really getting paid by Pickers yet.'
She added, 'I had started doing burlesque pre-American Pickers - so it takes me back to the space where I'm like building everything up from scratch.'
Colby promised her Instagram followers that she would keep them in the loop on her ongoings as the show draws to its conclusion.
'I'm gonna take you with [me] on this journey,' Colby said, 'because I don't know what to do if I'm not filming my work.'
She added, 'So I'm just gonna continue to film my work, and you can come with me on this process as a former reality TV star, just trying to find her f***ing way in the world.'
Colby said she is planning on focusing her efforts on her business, the Ecdysiast Arts Museum located in her native Davenport, Iowa.
'I've got the plan; we're moving forward - but how do I make money with the museum? That's the question ... wish me luck.'
