The Chase's official Instagram shared a clip from the new Chaser, who had been hidden behind a mask to conceal their identity, saying: 'There’s a new face in town.'
In the footage, a person wearing a black suit decorated with question marks appeared, whilst their face was hidden by a red and black mask and bowler hat.

ITV teased: 'The Maverick has joined The Chasers! But who could it be?'
Excited viewers flooded social media to take a closer look at the teaser image - and think they have narrowed it down to two famous faces behind the mask.
A number felt that the eyes of the newcomer matched up with comedian and TV presenter Jasper Carrott, who was the host of ITV quiz show Golden Balls.
Beneath the video, one excited fan wrote: 'Convinced it's Jasper Carrott!' as a second chimed in to agree: 'It's Jasper Carrot.'
A third penned: 'I'll be shocked if it's not Jasper Carrott.'
However, other viewers were quick to speculate that, given the red and black mask design, the hidden Chaser is actually WWE star Kane.
The professional wrestler, 58, wore a red and black face mask throughout the height of his career, concealing his identity in the ring.
'By gawd thats gotta be Kane!' one fan suggested, as another backed up the theory saying: 'THATS GOTTA BE. THATS GOTTA BE KANE.'
