Teri Hatcher unintentionally re-ignited those explosive Desperate Housewives feud rumors this week, by announcing her new podcast that is set to revisit the hit show.

The 60-year-old will host Desperately Devoted alongside her daughter Emerson Tenney, 27, as well as her onscreen daughter Andrea Bowen, 35.

Although the podcast is pitched as Hatcher re-watching the series with Tenney, who will be watching for the first time, it triggered some immediate questions from die-hard fans.

'The other [Housewives] gonna be guests?' one asked, while another immediately replied, 'doubt it,' alluding to the years-long rumors of tensions on the Wisteria Lane set.

Another said the podcast will have 'multiple elephants in the room,' when it comes to discussing her co-stars Nicollette Sheridan, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria and Marcia Cross.

One other fan pointed out that both Hatcher and Sheridan do not follow Longoria on social media, although Longoria follows them.

However, it seems that Hatcher will be looking back with rose-tinted glasses as she and her co-hosts have nothing negative to say about the show so far.

Bowen, who played Hatcher's daughter Julie Mayer, said the timing was 'serendipitous' as she is expecting her first child with her former Desperate Housewives co-star Josh Zuckerman, 40.

'Revisiting the show at this time with my TV mom of so many years and her daughter, whom I got to grow up alongside, while I embark on this journey of motherhood with my daughter, feels really special,' she told People

Fans will be eager to here if the rumored onset tension will be addressed.

Jesse Metcalfe, who starred as the gardener with whom Eva Longoria's Gabrielle Solis was having an affair, recently alluded to the saga.

'There's a lot of stories about all the drama on that set between some of our lead females,' he said to People. 'And I was like, I was oblivious to it, basically, you know, because I was just so thrilled to be on a show and just so in the moment.'

The rumors started around 2005, when the female leads were posing for the cover of Vanity Fair.  Eva Longoria and Marcia Cross, allegedly threatened to walk off if Hatcher, who had previously starred in The Adventures of Lois and Clark, was in the center.

Nicollette Sheridan, 61 was reportedly another troublemaker on the set. Her character was killed off in season five, and she sued.

In court testimony in 2012, showrunner Marc Cherry claimed Sheridan was often late and did know know her lines when she showed up on set.

He also testified about being called to the set when Sheridan and another actress were shooting a scene and not getting along.

'There was a problem going on between Nicollette Sheridan and Teri Hatcher,' he recalled per The Hollywood Reporter. 'They were furious with each other.”

'Nicollette pulled me aside, and told me that Teri Hatcher was the meanest woman in the world because of how she was acting,' Cherry said,  but was not allowed to go into more detail after the judge ruled in favor of an objection from  Sheridan's lawyer.

In a 2023 appearance on Dax Shepherd's Armchair Expert podcast, Longoria, 50, claimed it seemed to be backlash against women working together.

'They all had such a better handle on fame, on that narrative,' she told Shepherd.

'I’m like, "[People] are saying we’re fighting." They’re like, "Well, that’s just a narrative they do on women because we’re over 40 on a television show." And I was like, "Yeah." I wasn’t even that smart to understand that.'

While Hatcher may not have enjoyed a long friendship with her co-stars, she is still close to Bowen.

'The fact that I've known [Andrea] since she was 13 and was at her wedding in Barcelona last year, that's just amazing to me and feels like part of a life well spent,' she told People.

On Monday, Bowen shared a photo from her sonogram, and revealed 'a little girl arriving later this year! We are bursting with happiness!!!'

Hatcher, who starred as Susan Mayer on the dramady,  quickly grabbed the shot and shared it in her Instagram Stories, adding, 'OMG Susan is going to be a grandma!!! and Teri is a very good babysitter. Congrats you two. Tons of love.'

The trio will also see how well the show, which won seven Emmys and three Golden Globes, including a Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical for Hatcher, has held up some two decades later.

The series, which launched in 2004, just months after Sex and the City had aired its series finale, was an instant hit. Millions tuned in to see the gorgeous women of Wisteria Lane whose lives were not as perfectly manicured as their lawns.

Hatcher credits showrunner Marc Cherry for pushing boundaries. 'The first two minutes of this pilot, I was mind-blown. I couldn't believe that I was even in it,' she told the outlet.

The actress referred to unexpected decisions such as a 'shot of John the Gardener’s naked butt as he's trimming the bushes,' and Marcia Cross' character Bree Van De Kamp revealing her husband 'Rex cries after he ejaculates.' for keeping viewers coming back.

'Lines like that 20 years ago just weren't being done. This wasn't HBO. This was ABC Sunday nights at 9,' Hatcher explained.

Tenney, whom Hatcher shares with ex-husband John Tenney, 63, is pursuing a career as a writer and director. Her job is to do a pulse check to see which parts of the show are still relevant today.

'Stories that center around place and the identities of people that inhabit that specific place … are really timeless,' she said.

For viewers who want to follow along, all eight seasons of Desperate Housewives are available on Hulu.

Hatcher said she was thrilled the chance to share these moments with two women she loves. 'I really am giddy with joy that I get to do this with my real daughter and my on-screen daughter,” she explained.
