A horror movie hailed 'top notch in every way' has officially landed on Netflix - and fans will be delighted to know a sequel is just months away from hitting screens.
Since its release in 2023, Five Nights at Freddy's has received glowing reviews across the board.
The American supernatural horror movie follows a troubled security guard named Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson) who begins working at an abandoned pizzeria called Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria.
And during his five nights on the job, he realises the late shift at Freddy's won't be so easy to make it through.
The movie, based on Scott Cawthon's 2014 Five Nights at Freddy's video game series, features a star-studded cast including Josh Hutcherson, 32, Elizabeth Lail, 33, and Matthew Lillard, 55.
Following its release, Five Nights At Freddy's garnered widespread praise for its 'heart-pounding' storytelling and sprinkles of 'nostalgia' as many fans grew up playing the highly successful original video game.

The movie currently has an 86% score from viewers on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, which is a stark contrast to the 33% from film critics, suggesting one group picked up on something the other didn't.
While some viewers have claimed the movie is neither 'fun' nor 'scary', others simply can't get enough and flocked to Reddit to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: 'I don’t play video games and usually avoid movies based on them, but I took a chance on Five Nights at Freddy’s and I really liked it.
'The story, the cast, the direction, the cinematography, everything is top-notch. It’s now in rotation as one of my favourites that I regularly watch.';
'Amazing movie for the fnaf/non-fnaf fans, critics are delusional to think this isn’t a good movie.'
Others were left feeling surprised by the movie as they claimed it 'exceeded their expectations' before branding it their 'guilty pleasure' watch.
However, some fans believe the film leans hard into 'fan service', with one writing: 'One might argue the film leans too hard into fan service, with Easter eggs galore for game devotees, but that's also its strength - it’s a victory lap for a franchise that turned a niche indie game into a global obsession.'
YouTuber Cody Leach agreed that the movie will likely appeal more to hardcore fans than newcomers.

But that's not all, fans will be overjoyed to learn a sequel titled Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is set to air later this year.
The upcoming movie, directed by Emma Tammi, hopes to replicate the success of the first instalment, which grossed a whopping £220m at the box office against a £14.8m budget.
However, producers this time around have ensured no expense is spared as they have upped their budget to £37.8m.
Original cast members Josh, Elizabeth, and Matthew will also be reprising their roles, and the movie is scheduled to be released in the United States on December 5.
A synopsis for the upcoming sequel states: 'One year has passed since the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
'Former security guard Mike has kept the truth from his 11-year-old sister, Abby, concerning the fate of her animatronic friends.
'When Abby sneaks out to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, she sets into motion a terrifying series of events that reveal dark secrets about the true origin of Freddy's.'
