The Foreign Office's no-go list includes:
Afghanistan (except Kabul), Albania (border areas with Kosovo), Algeria, Iraq, India (Jammu and Kashmir, parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and Ladakh), Israel (areas close to Israeli borders with Lebanon and Gaza; West Bank and Gaza), Ivory Coast (except Abidjan), Liberia, Yemen.
Countries to which non-essential travel is discouraged include:
Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kenya, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka (Ratnapura and Matara districts, and parts of Hambantota and Galle districts), Taiwan (Taipei only), Sierra Leone, Sudan (southern area, except for those engaged in relief work).
