Munich's luxury nap-zone

The Napcabs are installed at Munich airport
Scenes like this could become a thing of the past if Napcabs take off
The customer service woes of the British airport industry could be coming to an end!
Sadly however, it won't be in the form of fully-functioning airports.
No, instead, the boffins at Munich's Terminal 2 airport have come up with a solution that is rather more prevention than cure.
They have invented specially designed sleeping cabins, or 'Napcabs' - designed to ease the agony of those interminable airport delays.
The tiny cabins contain a bed, desk, and internet access so you will be able to while away the hours while waiting your flight in relative comfort.
The cabins were developed by five students competing in the 2007 Innovation Competition held by Munich University of Applied Sciences - prices start at 15 euros for the first 15 minutes and four euros for every 15 minutes on top of that. Overnight stays from 10pm to 7am cost 60 euros.
Here at TravelMail we are sincerely hoping that these 'Napcabs' find their way to the UK's airports in the near future...
