A family break in Normandy

We wanted to take our kids away for a holiday a bit different from the norm and thought Normandy might do the job - it had plenty of history stuff for the boys and the good food and crafts stuff for us girlies.
I'd definitely recommend it and a guide book too - Frommers' Normandy for the family - is worth a look. Great insights on where to take the children and where to stop off along the way.
