The southern states of the US are not like the rest of the country. Things happen at their own pace down there, and Nashville in Tenessee is no exception.

Of course, the musical tradition of this town is the most famous thing about it, and the city is dedicated to all kinds of musical expression, frmo rock and rolll ro jazz to even classical. There are TWO halls of fame (Country and a general one) as well as the famous Grand Old Opry - which has an added museum - and the RCA studios. Whatever kind of music you like, you should be able to find a great show to see whilst you're here.

There are also stately southern mansions, unusual architecture (including an amazing Greek temple), and, of course, that legendary southern hospitality! One of my favourite US destinations and I can't wait to go back!
