Club 18-30 plans 'sophisticated' image

The days when drunk twentysomethings stagger around holiday resorts may be numbered as Club 18-30 prepares for a revamp.
In a move to lose its 'aggressive, male image' the company is rebranding itself to appeal to 'sophisticated and self-assured' travellers.
Last summer, young holidaymakers caused havoc in the Greek resort of Faliraki. Irish teenager Paddy Doran was stabbed to death in a pub brawl while Jemma-Anne Gunning was threatened with jail for flashing her breasts.
A Thomas Cook Thomas Cook spokesperson said: 'Ideas are being worked on. For example, we have introduced Club Chilled, which is designed for those who don't want to party all day and all night, but perhaps take it easier in the day and still have a good time in the evening. We are looking to broaden the brand but be true to the original spirit.'
Three Club 18-30 reps were arrested for organising illegal pub crawls. Company boss Manny Fontenla-Novoa said the Thomas Cook-owned brand, which has been going for 40 years, had 'reached maturity'.
