If you fancy seeing a little of the real Crete, try a holiday here.
For the past three Easters, the owners have invited previous guests to experience a Cretan Easter, visiting out of the way places in a minibus, celebrating Easter with their family, going to churches/monasteries, eating the traditional food, etc.
Crete is beautiful in the Spring, ideal for artists and bird watchers. I've been twice and am lucky enough to be going this year, too.
This year is full, so they are running a similar programme in May.
The Mistral is a small, friendly, family owned hotel (20 en suite rooms), well placed for visiting Western Crete. Dont miss it!
