We arrived at this large family hotel for our Xmas break. We were looking forward to a good rest and good food that included the Gala dinner.
The hotel is situated about 4 km from the the beach so you have to get a taxi back or face a long walk but the walk give us a good appetite.
The evening entertainment consisted of bingo and a singer every night. The children were allowed to stop up until the early hours and constantly roamed around the tables and on to the stage when the artists were trying to sing.
But our severest critisim must be levelled at the food!
The gala dinner consisted of fish soup first course, some dark looking fresh salmon salad, Turkey roll, hard potatoes, green beens like bullets, washed down with totaly un-drinkable wine and champagne.
We shared a table with another couple they left most of their meal as well.
But there was worse to come the next night as we went into the dining room we were told not to try the soup, but because I was feeling a little off colour with my tummy and no wonder I thought I would give it a try.
The label on it said Tomato when I returned to my table and tried a spoon full I found it was infact fish soup coloured red I rushed out of the restaurant and was violently sick.
I mentioned this incident in my letter of complaint to First Choice and they replied that the chef had to cater for every nationality.
I cannot for the life in me think of anyone that likes fish flavoured Tomato soup except perhaps an Eskimo.
Finaly when we boarded the Air 2000 Jet home my seat was wet through! What a holiday!!!!
