VANUATU
Compulsory vaccinations: none.
Recommended immunisations: *diphtheria, hepatitis A, *hepatitis B, malaria, *polio, *TB, tetanus, typhoid.
Health risks: malaria risk is low to moderate all year throughout the country.
VENEZUELA
Compulsory vaccinations: none.
Recommended immunisations: *diphtheria, hepatitis A, *hepatitis B, *malaria, polio, *TB, tetanus, typhoid, yellow fever.
Health risks: malaria risk throughout the year in some rural areas of Apure, Amazonas, Barinas, Bolivar, Sucre and Tachira states, municipal jungle areas of Amazonas (Atabapo), Bolivar (Cedeno, Gran Sabana, Sifontes, Raul Leoni and Sucre) and Delta Amacuro (Antonia Diaz, Casacoina and Pedernales). Rabies.
VIETNAM
Compulsory vaccinations: yellow fever certificate required if arriving from infected areas. Infants under 1 year are exempt.
Recommended immunisations: *diphtheria, hepatitis A, *hepatitis B, *Japanese B encephalitis, *malaria, polio, *TB, tetanus, typhoid.
Health risks: malaria exists throughout the country, excluding urban centres, the Red River delta and the coastal plain north of Nha Trang. Risk is highest in southern-most provinces of the country, Ca Mau and Bac Lieu and the highland areas below 1,500 metres south of 18°N. Rabies.
