Playa Norte, Isla Mujeres, Mexico

The waters here are very calm and the sand is white and very soft.
Even though this island is a half hour boat trip from the very busy resort of Cancun, you really would think you are in the middle of nowhere when on Playa Norte (North beach).
There is very little breeze on the beach, so do make sure that you position yourself up towards the front of the beach in case you need to cool yourself down!
I spent two weeks travelling round Mexico and whilst Mexico was excellent and I would do it again, my day on this beach was the highlight of my holiday and I am looking forward to going back to Isla for a longer stay.
An excellent beach, a definite must do and a great way to escape the very busy Cancun.
