Midlanders spend the least amount of cash on holiday
Midlanders part with the least cash on holiday, a survey revealed today.
Those hailing from the heart of the country spend an average of £252 a week while on a break - well below the national average of £301.

In contrast, the research by travelsupermarket.com showed that Londoners are the biggest spenders burning through £366 per person while on a getaway.
The poll also found that 45 per cent of people will definitely go on holiday in the next 12 months but 21per cent are less likely to take a break than they were six months ago.
Around half were likely to holiday in the UK, with as many as 18 per cent going on caravan or camping trips.
Meanwhile, a survey by foreign exchange company Travelex.co.uk showed that Croatia was the top spot for Britons getting married abroad followed by Egypt, Barbados, Israel and Las Vegas.
Also, travel company Travel Deals Direct said sales to Greece were booming this summer.
