Murray on course for another Slam after crushing victory

Jamie Murray admitted his passage into the semi-finals of the mixed doubles
could not have been smoother after cruising into the last four of the US Open
with American partner Liezel Huber.
The Scot, who won the mixed doubles at Wimbledon with Jelena Jankovic, and
world doubles number one Huber were far too strong for Poland's Agnieska
Radwanska and Mariusz Fyrstenberg.
The pair claimed a 6-1 6-2 victory and will now face American Meghann
Shaughnessy and Leander Paes of India in the last four.
Murray told BBC Radio Five Live: "It couldn't have gone any better. We played
very well and dominated from start to finish and now for the semi-final.
"We played well today. We were both very sharp at the net."
On the prospect of their semi-final opponents, Murray continued: "I'm pretty
excited. They might put us out on Arthur Ashe court which would be pretty
special. It will be a good chance to see what Leander can do."
Huber is a doubles specialist and this year has already won the women's doubles
at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
Jankovic chose to concentrate on the singles at Flushing Meadows and Huber paid
tribute to Murray after replacing the Serbian.
"He's great - I wouldn't say it if I didn't think so and he deserves all the
success he has achieved so far and will achieve.
"I'm not trying to think about it (our partnership) too much. We just kind of
play our game and go about our ways and I listen to Jamie although he is
younger.
"Normally I take the lead out there but he takes the lead and makes me
comfortable and confident. We have fun out there also."
