Empowered, a half-brother to last season's Derby winner Authorized, makes his debut in the 10-furlong maiden at Leicester this afternoon.

The Cheveley Park

stud-owned colt, who,

like Authorized, is trained

by Peter Chapple-Hyam,

is one of 76 entries in

York's Dante Stakes.
