Turner's Earners - Thursday
Last updated at 23:32 02 January 2008
Sam Turner (Robin Goodfellow), Brian Giles (Gimcrack) and the rest of the Mail's top tipping team bring you their best bets for Thursday's British meetings:
GOODFELLOW'S NAP - NORTHERN DESERT (Lingfield, 1.35)
Has plenty of form over the course
and distance to recommend him
and posted another solid effort
last week.
EACH-WAY OPTION - LYSANDER'S QUEST (Fontwell, 1.50)
Faced too stiff an assignment at
Ascot on his last outing and could
run better than the bare form
suggests.
TAKE THIS ON - DEN'S GIFT (Lingfield, 2.45)
In good form at the moment, but
this looks a hot race and there
must be a chance he will start at
too short a price.
ROBIN GOODFELLOW'S DOUBLE: Northern
Desert (Lingfield, nap, 1.35) and Carry On Cleo
(Wolverhampton, 7.20)
GIMCRACK'S DOUBLE: Blackthorn Boy
(Fontwell, nap, 12.45) and Scamperdale
(Wolverhampton, 9.20)
CAPTAIN HEATH'S NAP: Lidjo De Rouge
(Fontwell, 2.20)
FORMCAST SPECIAL BET: Pitful Tercah
(Fontwell, 3.25)
THE WIZARD: Mighty Matters (Fontwell, 2.20)
WORK WHISPER: Shining Gale (Fontwell, 12.45)
BURNT FINGERS: Super Frank (Lingfield, 2.45)
