Robinson has had seven winners from just 18 rides since his return earlier
this month after six months off following a major hip operation.
And the 46-year-old will get to know his big-race mount when partnering him in
his final piece of work on Tuesday.
"Philip is a very experienced jockey and we are pleased he has agreed to take
the ride," Jarvis told newmarketracecourses.co.uk.
"Tobosa does his final piece of work ahead of the 2000 Guineas on Tuesday
when Philip will come in and ride him."
Tobosa, a best-priced 50-1 for the colts' Classic, failed by just a short-head
to peg back Prime Defender in the European Free Handicap over seven furlongs at
Newmarket recently.
