Stan James 2000 Guineas hopeful Tobosa will put his Classic credentials on the
line in the Sporting Index European Free Handicap at Newmarket next week.
Three times a winner as a juvenile and also runner-up to Caldra in a valuable
sales event, the Tobougg colt has wintered well and is pleasing his trainer at
home.

Jarvis told his website www.williamjarvis.com: "Tobosa stretched out very
nicely on Wednesday morning, galloping over seven furlongs in company with
Killena Boy.
"He has wintered well and I'm looking forward to his reappearance in the Free
Handicap.
"We have now got our fingers crossed that he can produce a big run next
Wednesday.
"If he performs as we hope he will - and he comes out of his engagement in
good order - then we will consider taking up an entry in the 2,000 Guineas or
having a tilt at the Italian Guineas on April 29.
"As for jockey plans, Kerrin McEvoy will renew acquaintances with him."
