VERGALITY RIDGE (Wolverhampton, nap, 6.40) caught my eye when I was at the track a fortnight ago as he looked one of the nicer juveniles seen at Dunstall Park this autumn.

Handicapping was always going to be his game so it was no surprise to see him outclassed in a decent maiden over seven furlongs.

The son of Verglas boasts all the attributes of a powerful sprinting type and it will be disappointing if he doesn't put his stamp on a winnable nursery handicap tonight.

The bookmakers may not take many chances with MUNDAHESH (Wolverhampton, nb, 5.10) but he has looked a lovely prospect on his two starts to date and he looks capable of grasping an obvious opportunity.
