Peter Buchanan, who has extra reason to hope Tap Night successfully steps up in class in Kelso’s Premier Hurdle.

Buchanan’s mount runs in the blue colours of his sister Jane, who works in US racing and spotted the imposing gelding who has won Flat races at Belmont and Delaware.
