"Well, it was a heck of a win," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich
told reporters after his team used a late third-quarter run to
take control of the game.
"Obviously, either team could have been there. We had that
one spurt where we went up eight (points) and we just held on
after that."
Tony Parker had 21 points and six assists, Manu Ginobili 19
points and Michael Finley 16 for the Spurs, who also got key
contributions from Robert Horry during their run.
Carmelo
Anthony scored 28 points and gathered 12 rebounds and Allen
Iverson had 20 points for Denver.
"Get this one out of our heads and concentrate on the next
one," Iverson said when asked what his team has to do going
forward.
"That's the only thing we can do. They got their home
court advantage back and it's important for us to come in here
Monday and try to tie the series."
Chauncey Billups scored 25 points and Richard Hamilton had
19 as the Detroit Pistons completed their first series sweep since 1990
with a 97-93 Game Four victory over the Magic in Orlando.
Dwight Howard had 29 points and 17 rebounds for the Magic.
LeBron James scored 30 points and Zydrunas Ilgauskas
posted 24 as Cleveland recovered from blowing a 17-point
second-half lead to beat the short-handed Wizards 98-92 in
Washington to take a 3-0 series lead.
Deron Williams scored 25 points and Carlos Boozer had 15
points and 10 rebounds as the Utah Jazz beat the Rockets 98-85 in
Salt Lake City to even their series at 2-2.
