Taylor set for Open debut

Essex professional Brett Taylor received the news he was hoping for this morning - he will make his Open championship debut at Royal Troon.
The 29-year-old from Wickford became the fourth reserve to be called into the field after Australian Andre Stolz withdrew without giving a reason.
Former England squad amateur Taylor, who turned pro in 1998 has yet to earn a European tour card.
He lost a play-off in the final qualifying competition at Irvine Bogside on Sunday but gradually had his hopes of playing raised when Mark Hensby, then Toshi Izawa and then yesterday Warren Bennett scratched from the starting line-up.
