The bye-week period has come and gone and all attention now turns to the battle to reach the play-offs as the race hots up.
With just five weeks left in the regular-season, the teams have reached the all important month of December, where their post-season fate will be determined.
The pick of the action on another busy NFL Sunday sees the Denver Broncos face the Kansas City Chiefs for the second time in three weeks. The winner will take a major step towards securing the AFC West title and the No 1 seed in the play-offs.
That game is one of 12 being played on Sunday and the night finishes with the New York Giants at their NFC East rivals the Washington Redskins.

It's been another busy Sunday in the NFL and I am out on my feet.

The Redskins turn it over and the Giants take a knee to close out the game.
A miserable second half for Washington and they are now officially eliminated from the play-off race.
That one just about made it in, but they all count.
Brown's field goal goes over the top of the upright and is good for a seven-point Giants lead.
Washington need a touchdown to tie now and have just over two minutes to work with.
Brown goes in from one yard and the Giants move ahead for the first time tonight early in the fourth.
We've seen precious little from Washington's offense in the second half... it's time they stepped it up a gear.
Eli PICKED OFF. Interception No 18 this season for Manning and the Redskins cash in with a field goal from Forbath.
That 33-yard kick puts Washington back ahead.
That may be the spark they need after a poor offensive start to the second half.
The second half has kicked off at FedEx Field.
The Giants are on the ball first looking to take the lead for the first time tonight.
RG3 tries his best to make something happen in the final seconds of the half but time runs out on him and the teams head off to the tunnel.

A six-play, 74-yard scoring drive gets the Giants on the scoreboard.
RG3 is feeling it tonight. He is 12/12 and has a TOUCHDOWN pass after finding Paulsen over the middle for a 19-yard reception.

After a slow start, the Giants defense steps into the game with a stop on 3rd down.
That forces a Redskins punt and it is a good one that pins the Giants back almost to their own goalline.
Eli is SACKED on the first play and the Giants are forced into a punt on their first possession.

An emphatic finish to that TOUCHDOWN drive from Morris and the Redskins score on their opening possession.

For the Chiefs, they must rebound from three straight defeats and make sure they secure the No 5 seeding for the play-offs.

FALCONS WIN!
Bryant the hero with a 36-yard field goal in overtime and Atlanta will end their five-game losing streak with victory in Toronto.
Buffalo stay bottom of the AFC East.
Overtime in Toronto between Buffalo and Atlanta tied at 31-31.
Clemens finds Quick with a three-yard pass for a TOUCHDOWN, but it won't matter... this game is over.
That score has been a long time coming for the Chiefs.
Charles goes in for the TOUCHDOWN on a one-yard run after a 17-play, 80-yard drive.

The Chiefs have had no answer to this Denver offense in the second half. That was a 10-play, 95-yard scoring drive for the Broncos.
Manning now has five touchdowns after the two early interceptions.

A 27-yard rush from the running back at the end of a five-play, 81-yard drive and Atlanta are within seven in Toronto.
Absolutely crazy overtime period at the Metrodome.
Walsh kicked the 39-yard field goal for the Vikings that would have won the game. The fireworks went off, but the Vikings were backed up 15 yards after a facemask penalty.
Walsh then missed from 57 yards and Chicago took over.
Gould then had a chance to win it for the Beats, but his effort from 47 yards drifted wide.

For the second time in the quarter Gostkowski splits the uprights from 53 yards.
That gives New England the lead once again, but it's a delicate three-point advantage with just over three minutes to play.

Gostkowski nails a field goal attempt from 53 yards and the Patriots draw level with just over seven minutes to play.

It was an excellent drive to open the third quarter, highlighted by a 50-yard gain to Gronkowski and the full back drove his legs and wouldn't give up before finally getting over the goalline at the fourth attempt.
